On June 4, we hosted a life-saving CPR & AED training at UMediC Training Academy.
Participants learned to:

• Recognize cardiac arrest
• Perform hands-only CPR (100–120 bpm)
• Use the HeartStart HS1 AED with confidence.

Whether it’s Stayin’ Alive, Pink Pony Club, or Baby Shark, the beat can help you save a life!

Do you know? Balathandayuthapani Temple also known as Waterfall Temple, is the first Indian temple in Penang to install Philips FRX AED from us !

Most interesting fact is the visitors need to climb 513 steps to get to the temple which makes the temple higher than the one in Batu Caves, with a breathtaking view on top.

The official launching of installation Philips AED at the Waterfall temple by YB Senator Dr. Lingeshwaran R Arunasalam Deputy Chairman of the Penang Hindu Endowments Board, accompany by Mr. Naresh Tan Sri Ramesh the donor and the temple committees with UMediC and Red Crescent trainer’s.

Let’s elevate the new level of safety during your visit to the temple! A Philips FRX AED has been installed to ensure the well-being of all visitors. Along with that CPR & AED Training was provided to the temple committee to enhance their knowledge and skills in handling emergency situations.

UMediC Group Berhad | Majlis Rumah Terbuka Tahun Baru Cina 2024

The “Majlis Rumah Terbuka Tahun Baru Cina Kadun Komtar,” organized by MPKK Taman Traffic took place at Taman Traffic in Penang on 9 March 2024 (Saturday).

The presence of distinguished guests of honor, Deputy Finance Minister and Tanjong MP YB. Lim Hui Ying, Komtar State Assemblyman, YB. Teh Lai Hang, Pengkalan Kota Assemblyman, YB. Wong Yuee Harng, Penang Island City Council councillor, Benji Ang and MPKK Taman Traffic chairman Ong Lin Teong and treasurer Teoh Shaw Jhee, and JPWK secretary Janice Wong, surely added to the excitement of the occasion.

On this event, we organized CPR life-saving-skill training sessions, imparting the knowledge and skill in performing CPR with the use of an AED. In hope that during an emergency, everyone may save a life. It is hoped that through this event, more and more villagers would be better equipped in performing CPR. First Aid Saves Lives!

UMediC Group Berhad | World Restart A Heart Day 2023

In conjunction with World Restart A Heart Day, Malaysia Red Crescent Penang Chapter organised a CPR & AED training event on 16 October 2023 in Dewan Hitachi, Georgetown with 120 participants.

This training is guided by certified instructors to practice CPR techniques, hands-on training on mannikins and how to properly use Philips AED device during emergency, as well as spreading the awareness of the importance of quick action, because every minute counts during cardiac arrest.
